well now that i think about it i would still have to get a jet pack for the stocker and thats another 10 bucs.

well how fast does dellorto direct ship? cause i need a new banjo and manifold sleeve for my del carb. I think you have ordered from them in the past sr20.

so would it be better for me to port a stocker from 16 to 14 or just fix my dell carb?

well i hate ordering from them! shit takes forever with no response i'd go through treatshq on ebay just ask him he'll get you one.

and just to let you know the genuine dell banjo is a negative its made of plastic the reps is better i swapped my reps alloy banjo onto my genuine dell. too bad ddm aint selling those del reps with the metal float bowl any more!!!

also make sure you order the right thickness theres like 3 different white sleeves and if its not the right size it wont fit!

and while your at it buy a new float bowl and gasket kit they're cheap and the 14/14 inlet can be taper bored for a small venturi. the idle circuit can also be modified but no matter what just to get a cag engine going you have to wot which automatically pulls from the main no matter which carb you use.

alright i'll check him out on ebay

well the float bowl on their right now is a genuine one, and it has a metal slide. Basically everything internal is genuine except for the sleeve.

well i just experimented with the stock carb right now, i drilled out the main jet holder tube, tapped it, and bam now my dell rep jets fit! if anyone is interested let me know and i'll make a write up.

sweet! yah i gave up on my ported stocker i had zero gas leaks completly air tight no other issues yet it just was so inconsistent! one second it would be tuned next it would be running extremely lean i tried jets sizes 64-100! everything inbetween and it ran best with a .79 but then lost all low end so i tried to compensate by leaning out the low end since it was too rich and all it did was increase my idle and make cruising in powerband extremely lean!

as far as im concerned the stock carb is only good for a crisp idle it sucks for performance vs the dell i know others would disagree but after my issues i know what i'll stick with and i know iowas extreme weather doesnt help matters.
