Default Your weight and gear ratio??

Ok........

So I am online looking at some new sprockets to order.
Right now mine has a 6/68. It has a pretty good take off but I would like to get just a little more speed out of it AND still have a pretty good take, my current weight is 220 lbs. What would you suggest? What is your weight and what ratio do you run on yours? (If you dont mind me askin.....haha)

Would a good clutch come in to play also? I have been looking and not sure if I should go with a 2 or 3 pad clutch. The stock one I have now is a 3 and it seems to work just fine but I know its time to upgrade.......

stick with the 3 shoe cag clutch but get heavy duty springs so it can engage higher they work great especially for bigger guys.

also i wouldnt run anything higher on a cag engine then 7/68 unless its on an r/c front sprocket makes more of a difference by far.

sounds like you need a smaller rear sprocket though so you keep your torque but get just a touch higher speed. its best to go small on a rear sprocket before going bigger on the front cuz its less rotational mass to get spinning and less chain links so less drag.

check this out Minimoto Garage - East Coast Minimoto Speed Calculator cag wheels are 6.5" so leave the tire circumference at 35.75

dont worry about that it does it sometimes lol

but nah you could never gear a cag engine that high it would smoke the clutch and the engine would never hit powerband. fastest to get these going is between 35-45mph 45mph being an extreme set up costing $$$$$ more then its worth!! at that point it would be better to just get a watercooled bike which usually do 45mph out of the box.

haha.............thats okay, I wouldnt want to go that fast on a pocketbike anyways. Instead of a trail of exhaust smoke it would be a trail of sh*t........hahaha

I wrecked my old blata at full throttle a few years back, I have to say that I would rather wreck my gsxr then my pocket bike............that shit HURT!! haha
