how much did you end up getting it for?

well ride it hard, check the brakes, try opening the bike up all the way and be on/off the throttle to see if it stutters or anything. But even if something is wrong dont worry to much about, these thins are easy to fix.

and always check ebay, just about every part is on their and cheaper.

before you even start the bike i would pull the carb off and clean it really good just 1 spec of dirt will clog it and chances are its dirty i never knew anyone who had a NEW cag run for longer then a couple hours cuz the carbs clogged from the factory its also bad for break in period.

so new fuel filter and quality gas lines (3/16) the stock ones kink they dont have fiberglass renforcing inside and will leak and can blow your bike up! ngk spark plug (either bm6a or bm7a) rinse out the gas tank really well!!! they have plastic shavings that clog the carb fuel lines etc.. and last but not least check the petcock switch theres usually rubber pieces in it lol

make sure the choke is on before pulling hard on it cuz they come bone dry from the factory if you wanted to you could put a tablespoon of pre-mix in the spark plug hole and slowly turn it over to help lube things up before the initial start. use 1 gallon of 25:1 cheap 2 stroke oil for break in then switch to 32:1 synthetic

dont be afraid to be hard on it as J boy said you want to bring the engine up to revs and temps to let everything expand and seat correctly these things can take serious abuse! but like every NEW motor break in is the most important part of an engines life. with these most important part is proper fuel delivery so make sure that carbs clean! ohh and engine braking helps the rings seat so let the engine slow you down not the handbrakes.

stupid question. i love to go fast, so are there any turbo kits for this model bike i'm getting? or has anyone ever turbo'd a cag before?
as for the sites i got mostly all the parts are for 47cc motor. can they still be used on the 49cc?

cant turbo a cag motor it has no mechanical exhaust valve to keep boost from blowing out exhaust port and with incoming boost the reeds would never snap shut the only boost you can do is nitrous and you would have to tune for nitrous which means it would go slow as hell or not even start without running straight nitrous unless you buy one of those $600+ pbu nitrous kits and fit a fuel pump, solenoid etc..

just focus on the engine itself theres plenty of go fast parts to make it have over double the power it has stock. its just a matter of time untill i build my all time ultimate cag motor im aiming for 7-8whp! stock they dyno 1.7whp and the highest so far is 6.25whp i dont think i'll have any issues getting there as long as my idea works lol

you gotta mix fuel, for break in period use 25:1, after break in use 32:1. Sr20 recommended klotz oil to me and thats what i have been using ever scince.
