Default Ratio Question

Hey i am wondering who runs 50:1? I usually run it but its about to be July and the weather is hotter in the south in July. So i am wondering should i go to 40:1 or 32:1 instead of 50:1? This is also for a 49cc motor well for my scoot..

i dont run 50:1 in anything! my banshee is watercooled and i use 40:1 at the least 44:1 all my aircooleds get 32:1 just like recommended and you feel no difference just longer engine life.

Oh alright...
Soo i already poured a 4oz bottle of oil in my gas. And i am using a 1.5 gallon tank.
So should i go to the store and buy another bottle of 4oz of oil and pour it in my tank? That will make it 8 oz in all. Because i am trying to run 32:1 or 40:1 just trying to change over sense i been running 50:1 and i ride hard...

Well i looked it up.
I am going to need about 2 more oz of oil to make 35:1.
Will it be fine if i get another kind of oil and mix it with the one i got now? Because i might just ask my friend for 2 ozs of oil. But then again that will be hard to only get 2 ozs sense my ratio rite cut doesn't have 2 ozs

Edit:
Well the gas i mix now is 48:1
Is that fine for the mixture? I just want to get more oil sense July weather is a lot hotter and humid.

nope 48:1 is too lean on these cheaply made aircooleds i bet your engine has tons of friction lol

Alright, Well i went to the store and bought a 2.6oz of oil bottle same kind and mixed it with my 4oz so that makes it 6.6oz of oil witch roughly is 32:1.. And i have roughly around 1.5-1.6 gallons of gas maybe a little more. And i just used my ratio calculator and i got 32:1

This is my first time running 32:1 will i notice anything different? Because i know for a fact the weather going to much more humid and warmer so i just wanted to be safe then sorry

yah you'll notice small things like when you go to start it the cylinder doesnt feel so dry and scratchy. as for performance nah you wont feel any difference but your engine will!

as a matter of fact most people who use more oil tend to hit higher rpms due to the low friction levels and less heat allows more power to be made to a certain point.

Well i did notice it was smoother when i pull the starter.. And it seems to be running better.. So im going to stick with 35:1 i know its a lot more oil but its probably worth it
