Cool sr20hardbody's quad build

well i got a used quad from my neighbor couldnt resist they're too much fun heres some pics trying to figure out a pipe that'll fit you can see how a fatty wont come close to fitting and a stock cag pipe also barely fits and wont fit with a headkit so thats a no go. been thinking a jet pro knock off if anyone has the dimensions post them up! theres also the possibility of the rev unlimited pipe which doesnt give too much performance but might fit.

it also came with drum brakes which i dont really care for so dont know what to do there yet and whats with the vin# Jay can i get a title and trim the lower part that says "for offroad use only" and register it?! lol so here it is kinda tore down.

ohh and you can also see where the stock cag pipe was starting to burn through the gas tank.

The ADA carbon fiber cag pipe will bolt right up to it even with a head kit.

Not sure f I cold get a title for that, I will have to check into it and let you know.

What are your plans for it?

i think im gonna go all out on it i already started making my full yard ice track! i'll need to get knobby tires and stud the knobs. i seen pbu uses a pit bike style gas tank to make some more room which holds more gas also cuz i think im gonna go with a dell 19mm since i can fit it and i guess they suck down some gas on the cag motor lol. i havent decided whether to use my real dell or rep yet but most likely a 19mm.

think that carbon style pipe will give any performance? after looking i think i just might be able to fit a jet pro knock off i wanna try and see lol

ohh and i'll move these threads once we get the quad section

yes! at first i was a little sketical cuz there is a crack i forgot to picture on one of the rear shock mounting tabs that i easily seen when i was working on it for my neighbor i thought it would just end up falling apart. but after further inspection its the only cracked weld there is on the entire thing and he abused the hell out of it! all the other welds throughout the whole thing are descently strong but of coarse there are other models of these i believe infamous cobra's is the newer more improved version where those tabs wont crack. i can easily fix it though and it didnt crack the front weld just the rear weld so its still good to go. other then that its pretty solid. i was thinking of filling the hollow tubing through the entire chassis with some kinda renforcement to make it even stronger but dont know what to use that will cure hard enough like metal other then jb weld and that'll be expensive and hard to do. need something like in a caulking gun. lol of coarse i dont have to but i think it'll make it pretty much indestructable.

i've also got a spare banshee engine i was thinking of putting in but i want this to be reliable and with more parts the worse things get to maintain plus cag parts are cheap and plentiful i plan on riding the hell outta this thing!
