i bough some BZM clutch springs from mid south and they sent me polini clutch shoes instead, are these any good for my banshee clutch? or should i send them back and get my springs instead?

dayum!!!! you just lucked out! hell no dont send them back springs are like $13 those shoes are hella better then the stock banshee shoes and they'll bolt right up. might need to buy new shoe bolts though cuz i think the banshee shoes are permanently mounted to where you have to grind the bolt off and replace the bolt.

just order another set of red springs along with shoe bolts and those polini shoes can be modded. all you need to do is drill a hole through that circle spot on the shoe and buy some bzm shoe weights or ace hardware carries those certain allen bolts that are flush. the extra weight added to the shoes will make them hit harder when they engage for less slippage and more power to the ground. also red springs can engage really high with those shoes but the weights can help tone how high it engages down some.

I would not drill those shoes for weights. Use them as is !!! you may have to use a dremel and grind , sand or file a little off to get them to clear as they will rub on part of the backing plate . But keep those and use them they are 10X better than the stock banshee shoes!!!!

yes if you get bzm red springs and you have the polini shoes you'll have one of the best cag clutches around! and i dont think those are the bolts i believe these are the ones

212.005.001 - 212.005.001

but im not 100% sure cuz i dont have a banshee clutch near me at the moment im in vegas! haha but if you can take a pic of your stock banshee clutch so i can see if its the newer or older version cuz the newer version doesnt fit the bzm red springs without modification but i can do it as long as i have the replacement shoe bolts.

your clutch still looks brand new i'd use whats left of those shoes before bolting on the polini's. and after a second thought the stock black banshee springs engage perfect on a cag so using the bzm red springs might skip the entire powerband! red springs would be better for the 40mm kit but since you're using the 44mm kit you might wanna take advantage of the low end that the kit gives. another thing is the lower the rpm you engage the longer the clutch is gonna last. clutches with red springs usually dont last as long as a stocker.

doesnt really matter the clutch is good for a cag and your cag is gonna haul ass reguardless!
