Exclamation New Bike with many problems

I've just recieved my bike and it has many problems. It has a loose clutch that all i can do is start the bike it wont shift into any gears without turning off i tried adjusting it in every spot nothing works, a scratched up windshield that the scratches are like engraved in it, scratches in the back near the taillight and cracks in my left fairing at the bottom by the nuts and bolts, and there is a thin black hose thats just hanging there and slowly leaking oil, do they check the bikes before they are packaged cause if they do they sure missed a lot of things on my bike and unless Jay helps me looks like i lost my 600 dollars.

that black hose is a crankcase vent...been reving it up too much? Did you not inspect the bike before you signed off for it?

Does the cable move the engagment arm on the motor? Is the cable slack tight down there? When the motor is off can you put it in gear, pull in the clutch and the bike roll in 1st or does it slide the back tire?

i tried tightening everything and the cable moves the arm but when i shift it into first the bike jumps and shuts off and the handle doesn't feel right at all its suppose to go back by itself but instead you have to push it back of you get what i mean

Ok..this sounds goofy but it will work.Do you have any mountain bicycles laying around? If so remove the brake lever and perch, switch it onto the motorcycle.Sometimes those crappy china levers on those bikes do that you speek of. I doubt it will make your bike 100% but you will have that problem fixed.

i dont think the problem is the lever i think the problem may be by the motor like inside the piece that is holding the arm
