Default x18 Stock Pipe Mod

How do I do it? I already took the rivets out, but what should i do to it now? Im not worried about sound just performance.

just slide a perforated tube over the protruding pieces of pipe on the inlet and outlet of the muffler wrap that perforated tube with steel wool then fiberglass pack the canister rivet it all back together and rejet.

heres a car muffler but pretty much same idea check it out

so i have to gut everything and then use the tubing?

but first i had this

then i chopped it off and got this

so how the hell do i get this redirected tube out? I have had no luck

looks fine to me you want those stock protruding tubes so you can slide the perforated section over them and it doesnt matter if its perfectly straight since you cant see it.

all you're trying to do is connect the 2 stock tubes so the can isnt completly hollow like it is now. by connecting them you help guide flow out the canister but keeps it somewhat silent since the exhaust expands through the perforated section. the packing slows down the sound waves which acts like a bigger canister to deepen the sound and naturally lowers decibals.

oh ok i understand now, so now all i have to do now is get a preforated pipe.
