Default 114 bbk install

So I just got a bbk, a cam, and a new carb. Is this just as easy as swapping the old for the new??? I understand that it won't be "just that easy" but is there anything special about these bike that I need to know??? And if anyone has done this is it easier to leave the motor on the bike or take it off??

the hardest part would be putting the timing chain back on perfect time, get a paint marker and mark that hoe when you get to that point

you may need to cut that sleeve to fit because of your alternator, depending on where its at.

you ARE going to need to take that engine off, makes for a easier install.

is that the semi auto, auto, or manual

Its a manual...do you know if jay carries any rear sprockets I can't seem to find them anymore. Also how do you tune the mikuni 26 carb I was looking at it and there aren't any tuning screws???

yea about that mikuni piece of shit, that RICH screw it a bitch to get to.

my bike bogs at WOT, my screw to adjust the carb had to be bent into a crazy contraption

and IMO dont worry about taking that sprocket out of the get go, once you master all that torque and shes broke in all the way then rip her 55

the project is gonna have to be put on hold. I took off the carb and was just doing some mock fitting to see how it was gonna work and I got the wrong intake manifold the carb would hit on the engine.
