yeah well first mod is removing your base gasket which is around a .023 thickness and get your squish as close to .032 as possible. the second thing you do once that is done is the bottom of the piston skirt on the intake port side is a little long for timing so take a file and remove a little less then a mm off the bottom. third (you know this one) remove the bottom piston ring as you know these motors will run forever even when abused so one ring will do. now for porting the head make the intake wide as you dare and take only a little off the top, on the exhaust do the same but also file the gasket surface flat(i milled mine) as for the ports if you have a degree wheel youll find that the ports are a little high on most when the base gasket is on. so taking this off corrects this. now put you motor together.
and im wondering is your intake manifold a metal and plastic one? if so look at the metal side that goes to the carb...it sucks in transitioning the gasses! so take the plastic piece and hold it up to the intake port and you will find that the plastic spacer is oval port and your intake on the head is rectangular! fix this then do the same for the metal side and while your at it smoothe the sharp corners on the on the bore of the intake manifold and put it back together.
next step. dump the chinese carb its not a walbro! get a wyk58 carb and a velocity stack and youll be happy!
now the exhaust... let your imagination take you were you dare...
